Web Accessibility at EPC: Improving user experience

EPC has an ongoing commitment to serve the needs of our valued customers. We are actively working to enhance our website to increase and improve accessibility and usability for all our customers, including those with disabilities.

Our accessibility goal is to meet online usability and design requirements recommended by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to make your use of our website a successful experience

Some of the following changes we have made for improving accessibility include the following:

  • Better color contrast and intensity.
  • All images have descriptive alt text.
  • All form inputs have associated label elements.
  • iFrames have descriptive title attributes.
  • Link text is descriptive.
  • ARIA labels have been added to region selector, LinkedIn and YouTube buttons.
  • Accessible-friendly navigation is enabled.
  • Videos and sliders can be paused.
  • Videos have captions.

All these and future modifications will make navigating our website with the assistance of a screen reader more semantic. For the best experience, please use the latest version of your web browser and your assistive technology.
